this session was a little more special for me then others. 15 years ago, there was a tragedy in our family, a fire, and my cousin Elizabeth lost three out of four of her babies. Marcella came out alive with breathing problems and was severely swollen. doctors were not sure that she would pull through. after long, extensive medical care, Marcella miraculously recovered. it has been a long journey, but Marcella is now a happy, gorgeous, and very bubbly teenager ready to graduate. Liz and Cella traveled all the way from arlington to be photographed . . by me. i was so honored to be the one to shoot this milestone in their lives. we drove all around town taking HUNDREDS of pictures. at the end, we made a stop to the cemetery, where Angelica, Mercedes, and Robert are buried.
LOVE IT
