ive never been the only one to witness a wedding. it is a true honor to say that i was the photographer, the friend, the wedding planner, the ring bearer, the license keeper, and . . the guest. i watched as they stared at each other with nervous smiles. i was nervous with them. maybe more. it was the most intimate, romantic ceremony that i have ever been witness to. mercedes and jonny were married in the canyon a couple of weeks ago and i was there to capture that special day. afterwards, we had a bit of fun driving around being silly.
the relationship they have with their pastor is so sweet. he knew exactly what to say to make the moment light. he even told stories to ease the nerves.
the bride asked if i could record the temperature that they were married in, and i usually do what im told. =)
